Quality, freshness, proximity are the key words of the restaurant in harmony with our values. We propose a map that will reinvent itself every month in the image and tastes of the seasons. Our menus will consist of 4 starters, 4 courses, the cheese platter and 4 desserts with local products certified "Savoie", regional producers, and without forgetting, the small Savoyard touch delicately brought in a corner of one of your dishes. Small or big hunger, the menu will be structured of 3 or 4 dishes. Every midday, a market menu will also be prepared and suggested. To conquer all the palates, we have added salads, vegetarian and vegan dishes, grilled meats and various boards, sandwiches, and to finish in beauty, delicious homemade ice creams.

Lost in the heights of Mont du Chat, in the middle of nowhere, and provided with a large terrace, Le Coin du Bois offers you a dominant point of view on the Lac du Bourget and its surroundings, a site that you can only be seduced. Breath-taking on arrival, a full stomach at lunch, and a walk to digest. Everything has been designed to pamper and disconnect you.

Our team, our union

By advancing in the profession and participating in the local life we wanted to combine our experience, our professional capacities and human resources to create a friendly, family-friendly place, without pretension but where quality predominates; a place adapted to our requirements and to our gastronomic and social objectives. The three of us put a lot of emphasis on attention to detail. Because little subtle touches can give something much bigger… We will make this Corner of the Wood, the epicentre of the village, a meeting place where we will also offer cultural, literary, playful activities.

Marie-Anne, a woman with a rich and varied background, a true business woman who has never been afraid to cross borders to achieve her dreams. Originally a social educator and teacher, after giving with her heart for 12 years working with troubled youth, Marie-Anne studied international marketing and business economics and eventually devoted herself to her hobby, the kitchen and the service. Born in Denmark, she first managed a Thai gourmet restaurant in Copenhagen from 1991 to 2002, where she developed during these years, a real chain of restaurants from Paris to Bangkok, from London to Dubai. And yet, it is in Savoy that she decides to settle as a manager in the CHR (coffee/hotel/restaurant) and trainer and administrator at the FAGIHT Savoie. Who would have thought she would find her today in this improbable common, for her latest project, «that of the heart». Indeed, after 4 years of searching for the ideal place, the discovery of the Chapel of the Mont du Chat sounded like evidence. Because Marie-Anne has thought of everything for this project, as of September, this place will be the mini cultural center of the village as close to nature as its inhabitants.

Since he was 16, Emilien has been immersed in the world of catering. From then on, his knives never let him go. From her early learning to today, Emilien has discovered all facets of the restaurant and the values of cuisine. His journey in Burgundy to experiment French cuisine with local raw materials and quality, was revealing for our lover of flavors. 20 years have passed and he is still passionate to offer you the best of his know-how.

From her beginnings in restoration at Val Thorens, Fanny has from a very young age gained confidence and learned to manage heavy responsibilities. Over the years, she continued her career and worked in a small brewery on Aix les Bains and then at the Maison des Pêcheurs where she managed the bar before joining forces today with Marie-Anne and Emilien, her husband, for this beautiful project, which for her is the beginning of a whole new story.
